A Breakthrough for Manufactured Home Design

Product Overview
FRAME is a data driven CAD program specifically designed for the Manufactured Building Industry for the creation and drafting of frame walls. FRAME is “rules” based on standard construction practices. The rules can be easily adapted or modified to fit your needs. Because FRAME is rules based, a common building design can be applied to different manufacturing plants and reflect the individual specifications for each manufacturing location with automatic re-draw of the building.

Drawing creation is easy via the graphic interface that automatically creates a Layout Drawing, Stud Cut List and Bill of Material Data File. Updates and design changes are easily modified via the graphic interface.

FRAME has been created with an open architecture that allows the user (CAD Manager) to change design parameters and constraints as needed.

Features
Each plant has its own standards that can be modified permanently or for unique projects.
Each wall defaults to plant specifications size limits and member sizes, and can be overridden as required.

Components of a wall include -
Openings (door, window, pass-through, access)
Vertical Studs (lay flat or on edge)

Horizontal/Blocking Studs (lay flat or on edge)

Wall Parameters
   Side, end, shear, interior
   Angled, perpendicular, parallel
   Flat or Vaulted ceiling
   Height of Flat wall
   Wall layout from left or right
   Stud Layout from left or right (or Center for Single-wide units)
   Stud-capped end wall (for Double-wide end walls)
   Distance to start of wall
   Distance to end of wall
   Length of wall
   Angle of wall
   Stud spacing (plant default)
   Stud thickness (plant default)
   Double top plate (plant default)
   Top plate thickness (plant default)
   Bottom plate thickness (plant default)

Drafting Output
   Automatic draw or re-draw of wall after any changes
   Draw or Re-draw one wall, all walls or selected walls
   Use the program defaults or user defined hatching, layers, and colors

Data Output
   Cut list includes quantity, length, size, and type
   Cut list is displayed on the drawing, and can be toggled off if desired
   Bill of Material output to ASCII based file

Other
   No limit to number of walls per building
   No limit to number of doors, windows, or studs per wall
   Automatically calculates stud lengths for vaulted ceilings
   Wall layout can begin from right or left as needed for wall covering
   Add or delete a wall at any time
   Add or delete wall components at any time
